2008 Season Update

Trials for the 2008 Season begin on Sunday, March 2nd. Taking this into account, it is vital that we are able to appoint referees to officiate in these matches. All referees need to complete an availability sheet for this season. Click Here to download your copy. These forms need to be returned to Secretary, Rocky Musolino by the 16th of February.

Unfortunately, the scheduled training session for the 4th of February had to be cancelled due to the large amount of rain Sydney has seen. The next session is on Monday the 11th of February at Brighton Beach, meeting at the first carpark after the President Ave. turn. It will commence at 6pm. Please make an effort to attend. Injuries are undoubtedly brought on by lack of fitness and preparation.

Congratulations to Rickii Monk. Rickii has made the train - on squad for the NSW Junior Representative squad. This is another step forward in Rickii's ambitions. Congratulations Rickii!

Also in relation to Junior Reps - congratulations to Ben Musolino who has made the 2008 St George Dragons Harold Matthews Cup Team. Well Done Ben!

The Adjourned Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday, 26th February 2008 at the St George Leagues Club - 7:30pm start.

Also, the Arrive Alive School Boy's 7's competition will be held next week - Wednesday the 13th Feb for the Elite Schools and Thursday the 14th Feb for the General Schools. Referees are required for both days, even if its only for an hour - your assistance would be much appreciated. You will be provided with food and beverages, and receive a gift.
