Preparations for the 2008 Season Underway!

St George Referees preparations for the nearing 2008 Rugby League season appear to be in full swing, after Pre - Season training commenced last Monday at Olds Park.

A small group of referees gathered for a strenuous physical session, in preparation for what will be a long season. All referees are urged to make an effort to attend these extremely beneficial sessions, which will no doubt pay off as the season progresses.

The next scheduled session is on Monday, 4th February. Details of venue and commencing time will be emailed to all referees and placed on this website.

In terms of Junior Reps - 4 St George Referees - Matthew Peden, Rickii Monk, Andrew Julian and Mitch McGuiness, have been training with the squad since November. They are currently involved in various trial matches. We also have 3 players involved in Harold Matthews - Josh Flecknoe (Tigers), Ben Musolino (Dragons) and Josh Peden (Dragons). Best of luck to them as they pursue their goals of representing their respective districts.

Referees Profiles are slowly beginning to appear on the site. Any referee who hasnt completed a profile and sent it in is asked to do so asap. These can be downloaded from the "Referees Profiles" page of the site.
